On 8 August 2024, the Singapore Embassy in Phnom Penh celebrated Singapore’s 59th National Day with a grand reception at the prestigious Raffles Hotel Le Royal. The event, attended by over 300 distinguished guests including government dignitaries, business leaders, and high-ranking officials, highlighted the strong and growing ties between Singapore and Cambodia, reflecting shared values of friendship and cooperation.
The celebration was graced by Minister of Mines and Energy Keo Rottanak as the Guest of Honour. The evening featured a rich cultural programme, with performances by violinist Kaie Arianna, vocalists Amelie Alu and Heather Tan, accompanied on piano and arrangements by Metta Legita. The event was supported by the Singapore Global Network, creating a memorable celebration of Singaporean heritage and artistry.
