This community-focused cultural event brought together a rich and diverse programme of music and performance, celebrating Singapore’s multicultural identity through artists of different generations and traditions. The afternoon featured a special appearance by pianist Benyamin Nuss (Cologne), alongside April Foo (pianist and conductor) and composer Nicholas Ho, whose Chicken Rice Song was performed by Singaporean tenor Brendan Au. The programme also included performances by Malaysian soprano Florence Chong, the Swadaya Indonesian Angklung Group with Malay medleys and an interactive audience segment, and the Nityaa Arts Indian Dance Group, presenting both a classical work and a narrative dance on the founding of Singapura.
Young talents were prominently showcased, including Evelyn Leifeld (violin), Kian (piano), Lie Jie (pipa), Daniel Maurer (self-composed songs on electric guitar), and Rayyan, who presented original rap music videos. The event concluded with a collective finale featuring Majulah Singapura, the pledge, and Home, followed by a communal gathering. The programme was supported by the Singapore Embassy in Berlin and the Singapore Global Network, with special guests from the diplomatic community and the Staatstheater, underscoring the spirit of cultural exchange and community connection.
