As part of Opera Asia’s efforts to build a platform for young voices, the Opera Asia Youth Showcase was held on 26 April 2026 at the Esplanade Concourse, in collaboration with Esplanade’s In Youthful Company series. The showcase brought the energy of emerging international singers into one of Singapore’s most vibrant public arts spaces. It featured two performances: Ashley Chua, Victoria Kim, Xun Lyu, and Zinuo Chen, accompanied by Bernard Tan; followed by Yuxi Ye, Ziluo Yuan, Xujie Deng, Zishuo Chang, and Mengying Jia, accompanied by Crystal Fu. Together, the young artists filled the Esplanade Concourse with international voices, warmth, and enthusiasm, offering audiences a glimpse of Opera Asia’s future-facing commitment to youth development, visibility, and public engagement.
