On 27 April 2026, Opera Asia continued its Singapore programme with a two-hour masterclass, organised and hosted by the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) by Univ. Prof. Peter Edelmann at NAFA. Supported by the Austrian Embassy Singapore, the session was attended by NAFA’s Vocal Department and students from vocal classes across different levels. Opera Asia was honoured by the presence of H.E. Ambassador Peter Storer, his wife, and Julia Henningsen, whose support reflected the spirit of cultural exchange between Austria, Singapore, and the wider Asian opera community.
This session formed an important closing chapter of Opera Asia’s Singapore weekend, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to education, mentorship, and international artistic exchange.
